ABOUT RondoDaSosa Mattia Barbieri (born April 29, 2002), known professionally as Rondodasosa (or Rondo), is an Italian rapper, singer, and songwriter hailing from the San Siro district of Milan. Growing up without a paternal figure, he was raised by his mother, who introduced him early to Italian rap artists like Fabri Fibra and Emis Killa, sparking a passion for rap music.
As a youth he left school and took on low‑wage jobs to avoid legal penalties before launching his music career in January 2020 with the freestyle “Free Samy”, dedicated to an incarcerated friend. Blending UK drill influences with his Milanese roots, he rose quickly with tracks like “Louboutin” (with Vale Pain), “Slatt” (featuring Capo Plaza), and the Italian remix of “Body” by Tion Wayne and Russ Millions, gaining widespread attention and Spotify success in 2020–21, including Platinum and Gold certifications in Italy.
