Following an exclusive announcement with Billboard Magazine, internationally acclaimed dancehall superstar Masicka releases his highly anticipated new EP, Her Name Is Love, available now via Def Jam Recordings. The eight-track project marks a striking evolution in Masicka’s artistry, offering a layered exploration of love, intimacy, vulnerability, and emotional balance, without sacrificing the lyrical precision and authority that define his sound.
Her Name Is Love is not a collaboration project, but a curated body of work inspired by women and emotional connection, presenting love as discipline, strength, and self-awareness rather than fragility. Across the EP, Masicka navigates desire, devotion, loss, trust, and triumph, blending melodic delivery with sharp storytelling over polished, modern dancehall production.
In a recent interview with Billboard Magazine Masicka shared “Her Name is Love is really me tapping into another dimension of who I am, not stepping away from the grit, but showing that there’s more to the man behind the music. The ladies always support my work, and I wanted to create something that speaks directly to them, their stories, their strength, their emotions and the energy they bring to the culture. This EP is about connection, emotion and the different forms love can take”
The release is accompanied by exclusive EP imagery narration via OkayPlayer, a visual extension of the music that asks the question: what does love look like if it had a physical form? Through composed, cinematic imagery, Masicka presents love as calm yet intense, tender yet unbreakable — mirroring the emotional depth of the songs themselves. The visuals reflect introspection, restraint, and growth, reinforcing the EP’s central theme of love as balance rather than performance.
From the hypnotic rhythms of “Whine All Night” to the emotional resonance of “Lifetime” and the introspective honesty of “Keys,” the EP captures Masicka in a reflective space, showing range and maturity while remaining firmly rooted in dancehall’s core.
Her Name Is Love Tracklist:
With Her Name Is Love, Masicka continues to redefine expectations, challenging traditional narratives around masculinity and emotional expression in dancehall while expanding his global reach. The EP stands as both a personal statement and a cultural moment, one that underscores growth, intention, and artistic evolution.

After a successful run up the US iTunes Charts with the release of their “Flawless Victory” EP on March 1, 2024, Dancehall mainstays Xyclone and Bay-C ha
The Billboard Kid Xyclone is known for his promotional prowess for all his projects and has been using this opportunity to gain traction for “Flawless Victory” on the UK charts. Bay-C, who has seen major success as a member of TOK, is basking in glory as a solo artist which has been ongoing in Europe and the UK for a few years now. Having over 10 million streams on Spotify, hitting number 1 in Germany and with crossover hits in the UK too, “Flawless Victory” is a continuation of a thriving solo career for the baritone artist.
“Well it's good to show the USA fans what's happening in other markets,” said Bay-C.
Working alongside Xyclone has reaped many rewards as the pair have developed a good musical chemistry. Both are highly driven, business savvy, self-investing and have a tunnel vision approach to success, making it an obvious dream team working towards achieving a “Flawless Victory” literally.
The project has been well received in the UK, both in the charts and in the streets.
“We destroyed Tipsy Thursday with an Epik performance. That was crazy! We also did interviews with a few media outlets. That was Phase 1. We’re gonna return to the UK for Phase 2 of the promo run soon,” Bay-C stated.
The “Flawless Victory” Tour began in the US in February with Massachusetts, then on to Maryland, New York and Florida before going to Europe in March. The UK being the first stop set the precedent for the tour as the EP rose to the top of charts after a few days of promotion in London. They’ll be in their home country of Jamaica at the end of April, then back to Europe in May for shows in Switzerland and the Netherlands in June before returning to the US in August for Reggae on the River in California. More dates are to be added.
Their main focus is on social media as they continue to see huge growth with the “Get Inna The Groove” dance challenge on TikTok and Instagram, choreographed by dancer/influencer @JD_Unt. Additionally, the single is receiving consistent radio play on New York's Hot 97 with Bobby Konders and Jabba from Massive B. The aim is to keep building from there, with more airplay in different markets which would then spill over to every event worldwide.
What’s next for Bay-C?
“To begin working on the follow up to my 2022 King Bass album. This will be my third solo album so I'm looking to show growth and even more artistry on it. Also fans can look out for new music from the Tribe of Kings aka TOK.”
The “Flawless Victory” EP was produced by Xyclone’s Ejor Media Group and Bay-C’s Bomb Rush Records. It was executive produced by KillaImij Records and distributed by TuneCore.

Internationally renowned artist Bay-C from the dancehall group TOK has teamed up with Billboard chart-topping artist Xyclone on an EP titled Flawless Victory. It topped the pre-order chart in the days leading up to its March 1 release date and was victorious on the iTunes charts just hours after midnight.
Upon its release, Flawless Victory debuted at number 38 on the USA Top 200 Albums Chart, then climbed its way up to number 28 by 8am. It also peaked at number 30 on the US Top Charts. On the Reggae Albums Chart, it debuted at number 2 a mere 30 minutes after midnight before taking the number 1 spot moments later ahead of Bob Marley’s Legend album.
The iTunes Reggae Singles Chart saw all 6 songs from the EP charting in the top 20, 5 of which made it the top 10. At number 12 was “Wull Heap” featuring Zagga on the Bankx Riddim, also released today by debutant producer Jenelle Alexia from A’Legends Productions, “Get Inna The Grove” was at number 10, “Tight” featuring Shellchapo and KillaImij placed in the number 9 position, then “Bobbysox876”, the title track “Flawless Victory” and “Drip” featuring Konshens closed down the top spots at numbers 5, 4 and 3 respectively.
Xyclone and Bay-C are ecstatic about but not surprised by the performance of their collaborative EP on the charts. Though Bay-C has topped the charts before while being a part of the group TOK, this is his first time reaching number 1 as a solo artist. Xyclone, regarded as the Billboard Kid, has hit number 1 on iTunes with 8 consecutive albums. The experienced pair, who have seen their own individual successes over the years, knows how to make hits and together, the combination was key to finding the perfect formula and reign supreme. They’ve embarked on a Flawless Victory tour that takes them all over the US and will see them heading to Europe as well.

Jamaican R&B singer, Denyque is crushing the Hip-Hop charts after the release of her EP, R.E.A.D.Y (Release Everything And Do You). At midnight on February 2nd, Denyque gave the world a shock when she dropped R.E.A.D.Yunder the Hip-Hop/Rap genre and created waves the size of tsunamis.
Friday morning at 6am saw R.E.A.D.Y being added to Spotify and by 10am, it amassed over 16,000 streams. It also made it onto 25 Hip-Hop playlists during those short 4 hours. Then came even more tremendous news – the EP debuted on the iTunes Hip-Hop/Rap charts at number 26 before 6pm.
Denyque and her team were ecstatic after seeing this. The sultry singer continues to make important strides in her career with her talent, uniqueness and fearlessness of trying things outside of the ordinary. Not one to follow the norm, Denyquewas interviewed by Dr Empress Rose on the 1-on-1 Music Review show at 2:30pm Friday afternoon where songs from the EP were previewed to an eclectic global audience live on YouTube. This, the team believes, helped sway her numbers on the charts as she moved up to 20 then up to 15 before finishing the night off at number 14, surpassing Nicki Minaj’s Pink Friday 2 (Gag City Deluxe) album.
Denyque would have been happier to break into the top ten – being the first female R&B singer from Jamaica to defy such a feat in Hip-Hop – but the Lifespan spokesperson is quite content with the achievement at this point of her career. 4 out the 5 songs on the EP have also charted, with “Ease My Mind”, “Long Way Down”, “Make A Wish” and “Between Me And You” breaking into the top 200 Hip-Hop/Rap singles chart by occupying the 194 to 197 spots respectively. R.E.A.D.Y is a sure success which will likely propel Denyque to become an international crossover sensation.
The 5-track EP, which features her 2 hit singles “Between Me And You” and “Make A Wish”, was produced by Levels To Life Productions in collaboration with Lee Milla Productions and Denyque’s own Denym Entertainment label. Other producers also include Emudio Records and ThatBossEvan. R.E.A.D.Y is distributed by 21st Hapilos Digital Distribution Inc and is available for streaming and purchasing on all major platforms.
Denyque is gearing up for a US tour as well as several appearances on various television and radio programs. She has also been featured on the remix of a Devin Di Dakta song called “Think Like A Man”, which is set for release on February 16. It seems 2024 is Denyque’s year to dominate in more ways than one.

KHALIA debut EP "STAY
TRUE"
Jamaican/UK rising
reggae star Khalia releases her debut EP, Stay True.
Executive produced by Grammy award winning producer Tony "CD"
Kelly Stay True is a display of the singer's versatility
and songwriting skills. She tackles social issues alongside Tanya Stephens on
"No Answer", serenades a lover on "Waiting For You", trades
barbs with Shaggy on "Double Trouble", and reflects on her inner
circle on the EP's title track. Make sure to check the heartfelt focus track
"Things and Time" where she pairs up with Mortimer for a tender
declaration of love and devotion.
"This EP is about exploring the different sides to me as an artist. The music that inspired me was not one dimensional as I fell in love with many genres such as reggae, dancehall, grime, rnb and gospel. Ultimately reggae is my home. This body of work stays true to my reggae roots. The lyrics and topics are from my own life experiences, so each song has it’s own special place in my heart. Titled ‘Stay True’ from one of the songs on the EP, it also has a strong meaning to me, battling with what the world wants me to be and who I truly am. I choose to stay true to myself, even though it may not be the easiest thing to do."
