“Can’t Be A Fool is about self-worth, confidence, and knowing what you deserve,”

Aleighcia explains.

“It’s a message that resonates with anyone who values themselves and refuses to settle.”

2024 has seen Aleighcia solidify her status as a force to be reckoned with, both in the reggae scene and far beyond. This summer, she stunned audiences with a mesmerising performance of Bob Marley’s “Redemption Song” at the Sky Arts Awards, accompanied by the world-renowned Kanneh-Mason Family.

The Voice (Y Llais)

Aleighcia has also become a powerful voice in broadcasting. She’s one of four coaches on the Welsh edition of “The Voice” (Y Llais) alongside Sir Bryn Terfel, Yws Gwynedd & Bronwen Lewis.

Aleighcia’s presence is equally strong on the airwaves, with her own show on BBC Radio Wales and a new role deputising for the legend David Rodigan on BBC 1Xtra’s flagship reggae program.

Aleighcia’s debut album Windrush Baby, produced by reggae icon RoryStoneLove, claimed the top spot on Apple’s iTunes Reggae Chart. The album’s success fueled her headline “Windrush Baby Tour” across the UK and a show-stopping appearance at SXSW in Austin, Texas, putting her firmly on the international map.

As 2024 draws to a close, Aleighcia Scott stands poised as one of 2025’s breakout stars. With her dynamic voice, commanding presence, and relentless drive, she’s not just redefining UK reggae – she’s leading its next revolution.
