Roots Reggae artist Natty King, born Kevin Christopher Roberts in 1979, grew up in the Saint Thomas Parish of Jamaica before moving to Kingston with his grandmother. His early exposure to music led him to adopt various stage names before finally becoming Natty King. He gained prominence in the early 2000s with hits like "Mr. Greedy" and "No Guns To Town," which topped the Jamaican charts. Natty King toured extensively, performing at major festivals in Jamaica, the US, and Europe, and released several albums, including his debut "No Guns To Town" and "Born to Be Free," expanding his fanbase globally.

In recent years, Natty King has focused on writing new music, producing, and giving back to his community through charity work. He released his latest album, "Rebellution," in January 2022, a 19-track project featuring collaborations with artists like Luciano and Turbulence. After a decade-long hiatus, he returned to touring in 2023 with the "Rebellution Summer Tour" in Europe, where he was warmly received by fans. Natty King continues to record new music, including recent collaborations like "She Gives Me Love" with Samora and "When Jah Come," a tribute to Lee Perry.
