Maryland-based Jamaican dancehall artist Xyclone hits the US iTunes Reggae Singles Chart with his latest track called “Mannequin”. It debuted at number 13 and peaked at number 6 shortly after its release on Saturday, June 8, 2024.
The international recording artist is known for dropping hits after hits and charting each time, not only on iTunes but also on Billboard, 8 of 9 times with his previous albums. This feat has made him become regarded as the 'Billboard Kid'. “Mannequin”, though a single, is on its way to being another massive hit with his fans due to the support it’s been receiving hours into premiering on media outlets.
Produced by Jaus Col Inc and SG Records, “Mannequin” also features both producers as artists on the track alongside Xyclone. This collaboration among the 3 of them has been a winning partnership for years, garnering several successful albums which have all topped the charts worldwide.
Xyclone, though promoting “Mannequin” heavily through various social media platforms, is currently on tour as well. Teaming up with living legend Bay-C from world renowned dancehall super group TOK, the pair released their critically acclaimed duo album called “Flawless Victory” on March 1 to much fanfare. Their Flawless Victory tour has taken them to Switzerland, The Netherlands, England, several states across the US and Jamaica, of course. They will be going to The Gambia in Africa shortly.
The Flawless Victory tour, which has already been going on over the course of 3 months and counting, provides the perfect opportunity to introduce “Mannequin” to the masses. Its charting success is proof that it is loved by many, enough to buy it.
