Kenyan Recording Artist Boutross Teams Up with Afrobeat Star 1da Banton and Dancehall Star Konshens on Angela Remix

ADF Music / ONErpm Nairobi, March 24, 2024 Relentless boy wonder Boutross traverses borders and crosses the Atlantic Ocean to onboard Konshens aka Otieno and Nigeria's 1da Banton for the dancehall remix of 'Angela', originally featuring the Kenyan fresh prince Juicee Mann. The dancehall remix is the first of at least three confirmed remixes. This remix is being dubbed the Dancehall remix, which will be followed by the East African remix,West African remix, S.A remix, and Latin remix. Dancehall Remix The dancehall rmx has given Angela new wings to fly even higher by Konshens who establishes his Kenyan roots on the opening verse, cementing his Kenyan ties by referring to himself as Otieno. Within the span of a 20 second verse, Konshens propels the Angela Remix to new dimensions, qualifying the song as certified anthem in Kingston, Nairobi, and anywhere in between. Just like in the original release, Juicee Mann carries the chorus on the Angela Remix, assisted by Boutross with both of them taking the Kaxi-produced beat hostage once again. The producer-Kaxi, maintains the midas touch on the instrumentals with just the right amount of dancehall melodies. The dancehall remix doesn't take away from the original record. In the remake, Juicee Mann maintains his praise for 'Angela' , the baddie while Boutross is clearly still smitten by her. The Lagos legend - 1da Banton infuses the fiery record with his own sentiments about Angela coupled with an afro-sonic input to the track, giving the proverbial Angela an all access pass to Nigeria. The dancehall remix was heralded by the original release, which topped the charts and colonized Kenyan radio, eventually getting the attention of G Money, the iconic radio man, who just happens to have ties with Konshens. News about the remix first broke live on Homeboyz Radio in January 2023, and a video clip posted on Instagram confirmed that the Angela Remix was bound to happen. With the Angela remix in place, Boutross is looking at new horizons layered with the potential of breaking the sound barrier and entering into new territory within the global music realm. The revamped Angela Remix finds Boutross in the middle of the Bou-Tour 2023 Campaign, which has seen him tour the country city to city performing in major club venues.
