The legendary Dexta Daps made history on UK stages with his Trilogy tour last week and what a success it was! The predominantly female audience came out in their numbers as his mesmerising energy was displayed in full on stage. The unique sound of Dexta Daps was amplified and created a tropical vibe across four UK events, assisted by his super-talented live band that added sensational support to his silky vocals. From the moment Dexta Daps stepped on stage he commanded the attention of the audience with his high-energy performances and his charismatic stage presence. His versatility, unique voice, swagger and vibrant performance left crowds wanting more, as his presence dominated with his hottest hits.

Dexta Daps’ brief tour took him from London to Birmingham and then back to London (for a second show that was added due to popular demand) and ended in an outstanding finale in Manchester where Dexta’s stage presence did not decrease in energy, but instead left the crowd craving more. Footage was taken at the opening of the tour, capturing his London fans’ anticipation of his arrival outside the Troxy venue for up to 3 hours before the doors even opened. His London fans were far from disappointed with his steamy, interactive performance, to the point that some returned for the second London show for a chance to catch him in action again.

Day two in Birmingham was just as spectacular as the opening London show. The energy throughout Dexta Daps’ performance was exhilarating and vibrated through the entire audience, so much so that when he experienced technical difficulties during the performance of his 2020 hit ‘Breaking News’, the crowd were so captivated by his performance that they did not even realise the error. His ability to control the crowd even without technical support was truly a sight to see, and is a true testament to Dexta Daps’ showmanship.

Day three was his second London show, which once again brought his fans out in numbers on what would have been a typically mundane Monday night. Not only did Dexta Daps shut down his performance, but he also dazzled the crowd with his style and enchanting outfit changes. He delivered hits such as “7 Eleven”, “Shabba Madda Pot” and his latest single “Forever”, each delivered with raw passion, keeping the crowd fully engaged, excited, and charged.

Day four was the grand finale in Manchester and what an unforgettable night it was, filled with great music and infectious dancing. From the moment they sensed Dexta Daps’ presence on stage the Manchester crowd began to radiate an ever-growing, electric energy as he sung the first words of his opening song. But it was not just about the music; the show was also brought to life by vibrant visual effects, including smoke, fire, confetti and an impressive light show that dazzled the screaming audience throughout the night. It was truly a perfect coincidence that so many of his fans accessorised their outfits with sunglasses! The Manchester finale was indeed a phenomenal ending to a great tour.
