It’s been four years since international recording artiste Bay-C released his debut solo album Holy temple, to critical acclaim. The 10 tracked project intentionally had no feature artistes, no dancehall, and hardly any of the artiste’s signature bass vocals. At the time Bay-C had just embarked on his solo career, stepping away from the iconic group TOK, and wanted to explore all other sounds outside of what he was known for in TOK. Now Bay-C is back with King Bass. This sophomore project clearly shows Bay-C returning to his Dancehall roots. Jam packed with features from multiple acts in the game, and a slew of hit producers credited for the musical ensemble, King Bass is an instant banger! Featured acts include Bounty Killa, Bunji Garlin, Kalash, Christopher Martin, Cyndi Lionz, Wasp and a special reunion of TOK. The first single from the album, Mula, is a fresh take on the current Dancehall Trap fusion where Bay-C taps into his strong hip hop influence to deliver a priceless track. The music video for Mula is scheduled to drop on June 10th. The power line up of hit producers include Blizzi God Records, Dj Karim, Riff Raff, Tribal Kush, Dj Moiz, Crate Classics, Hugo Rizzo, 2Fik, Dancehall Rulerz, Alonzo Fibonacci, and YRush Music. Mixing and mastering credits belong to Kamal Evans and Ricky Hype respectively, while cover image and art design credits belong to 360ties and Marcin Margos.
