Sharkies Seafood & Plantation Smokehouse #WeLoveFoodWeek a huge success!

Richmond, Jamaica (Shuzzr) – Two restaurants! Endless cost-effective menu offerings! Live music in a reimagined dining experience! Countless patrons were offered an unforgettable experience at the inaugural #WeLoveFoodWeek hosted by Sharkies Seafood and Plantation Smokehouse restaurants.

The #WeLoveFoodWeek which ran from November 21-28th, sought to re-introduce the out -door dining experience during these concerning times. Many local hospitality establishments have seen drastic downturns of foot traffic in their operations due to this global pandemic.

“It’s been a very interesting year for everyone and just as how our guests, my extended family has stood with Sharkies and Plantation Smokehouse over the months and years, I had to find innovative ways of meeting everyone’s needs. This past week was about ensuring our guests had the opportunity to enjoy a night out affordably in an environment that puts their health and safety first” stated Alwyn Brown, owner of Sharkies Seafood & Plantation Smokehouse.

With ‘in-door’ and outdoor seating arrangements fostering social distancing with digital menus options and multiple cash-less payment options, guests were offered an economical three-course meal in a revolutionary dining format. The locations which undertook recent renovations, adapted a modern concept so guests can enjoy a reimagined and renowned dining service.

Sharkies Seafood Restaurants, who also won TripAdvisor’s 2020 Travelers Choice award, continues to rival its competitors with its sister location, Plantation Smokehouse. Catering to the likes of multi Grammy-award winning artiste and producer Kanye West and Meek Mills on his surprise visit to the island earlier this year, both restaurants continues to be the popular choice.

Rickardo Shuzzr who manages the restaurants public relations adds that “Our #WeLoveFoodWeek demonstrated the North Coast vibrancy, resilience against the setbacks of the ongoing pandemic. As a community we can still work, dine out, socialize in a healthy, safe and productive way. We want to sincerely express our gratitude and appreciation to all our guests locally and internationally for their continuous support.”
