BAY-C NEWS: 1 Mil Streams on Spotify + New Music ( Like We Do + Loyalty)
Producers of Bay-C's 2019 release 'See Di Don' have teamed up with Bay-C again to deliver this banger 'Like We Do'.
On this one, the dark grimy beat compliments the dark vocals of Dancehall legend Bay-C.
Somewhere between EDM, Dancehall and just heavy Drum&Bass, 'Like We
Do' is a catchy ode to being exceptional in one's endeavours. Repeatedly
throughout the track Bay-C utters in a growling voice 'they can't do it
like we do' and the song continues to take shape from this sentiment.
Complimented with a mood-capturing lyric video filled with
Black&White visuals reminiscent of a 90s hip hop video, 'Like We Do'
is already buzzing amongst European and Latin American djs. Currently
at 20,000 streams on Spotify since its release, this track is one to
watch.

Dancehall
artiste Bay-C gets personal on his new release Loyalty. The dj known
for his legendary bass voice pays homage to his family, teenage years
growing up in Hellshire Heights, Jamaica, and his fellow band mates TOK.
The tone of 'Loyalty' is one of reflection, acknowledgement and gratitude, sprinkled with swag and boss-like confidence.
'Loyalty' is produced by Jamaican based Big Tings Music. The artiste and
label have a rich history as Big Tings was the first record label to
record and release a TOK song in the mid 90s. The title is as such,
poignant and appropriate, as this release represents a musical loyalty
between the artiste and the record label

1 Million Streams for Muevelo

The
infectious track Muevelo, produced by Walshy Fire, Tribal Kush and Dj
Moiz, has now surpassed one million streams on Spotify. The first 2020
release for Bay-C has been buzzing ever since it came out in February
2020. Added to this was an exponential growth in April when the bass
voiced dj launched the #MueveloChallenge on his Instagram page. Videos
from professional and amateur dancers poured in from Africa, Europe,
Latin America and Jamaica. The final winner was DHQ Sparky Diva from
Italy.
As
the summer and autumn came, the song continued to grow in popularity,
landing on several playlists across the Spotify platform. The high point
of this was superstar dj and producer Diplo playing the song
continually in his set.
In
December, the track finally passed one million streams and the steady
momentum indicates that it may hit the 2 million mark in 2021.
