The Teddyson John Project (TJ Project) released their latest body of work: Caribbean Moscato. This new album, which has been touted by some as ‘SoulKa’, a possible new sub-genre for soca, is perfectly balanced with soulful instrumentals and intoxicating vocals. Featuring eleven (11) of Teddyson’s iconic and uplifting tracks, Caribbean Moscato is packed with deep points of reflection, upliftment and enjoyment, from ‘Allez’ to ‘New Day’ to ‘Ketch it’.

On November 22, the TJ Project―alongside renowned Saint Lucian artistes― delighted and entertained audiences across the Caribbean and the globe, with an exclusive one-hour acoustic experience. ‘Caribbean Moscato: The Acoustic Concert’ which premiered at 5:00 p.m. (Eastern Time) on Teddyson John’s YouTube Channel and local media networks: Choice TV, Hot 7, Radio Caribbean International (RCI), The Wave and Vybe Radio.

Regional partners for simulcast include TTT Live Online YouTube, Trident TV 10 Barbados and CMC TV Barbados.

Coming off the heels of Trinidad Carnival 2020, The TJ Project also maintains its partnership with the Saint Lucia Tourism Authority (SLTA) in its quest to highlight authentic Saint Lucian experiences and stories. The Acoustic Concert will also premiere on Travel Saint Lucia’s Instagram at 5:00 p.m.

Caribbean Moscato is the creation of The TJ Project and 238 Square Miles, and is mixed and engineered by Danyl Daniel and Facemedia Productions of Saint Lucia. It captures the dynamic storytelling skills of passionate musicians. Saint Lucian hip-hop star Kayo describes his involvement in the project as “a spiritual experience.”

Band lead and Saint Lucian Brand Ambassador, Teddyson John explains, “At our very core we are musicians, and whilst the soca circuit has been extremely rewarding, this time of introspection allowed us to reconnect with where it started, creating music―raw and authentic music― to retell some profound stories.”
