Jamaican recording artist, Yaksta, in collabaration with Jugglerz, has released 'Outside Again' - a vibrant, happy song celebrating the simple, understated concept of freedom with Yaksta's usual passionate style of delivery. 'Outside Again' was released on 25 March 2022. The new single is already an unstoppable success, given the social media buzz surrounding it and the steady run Yaksta's songs are having of late.
With the release of 'Outside Again', to be followed by the release of 'Money Talk' on 8 April 2022, Yaksta’s career path has taken him onto the busy highway of success this Spring and he has no intention of slowing down. He explains:
"I have been dreaming about this for years. I'm truly grateful for the support from fans, my government and the industry. I love my work so I'm going to ride on with faith and a clean heart".
Yaksta's hard work has certainly paid off. On 17 March 2022 he was invited by the Jamaican Prime Minister, Andrew Holness, to attend a Parliamentary session with a full house of ministers in attendance. Yaksta received cheers and applause from the ministers and he was full of joy when the Prime Minister recited the words from his hit single, 'Ambition'. He explained:
"I was just overjoyed. I am still smiling now!"
It is not just the Prime Minister that is noticing Yaksta. In early March 2022, it was announced that he won the Ire FM Music Awards in the categories of 'New Artist of the Year' and 'Singjay of the Year'. Yaksta was also nominated for the Jamaica Reggae Industry Association (JaRIA) 2022 Awards and his breakthrough song, 'Ambition' won 'Song of the Year' in March 2022. It seems as if the "2-0-2-2" tags in his song intros have now manefested into a very positive and promising reality for him and his manager, Sanjay, of Wuss Muzikk, who added:
"Me and Yaksta are really enjoying the fruits of our labour now. It seems like we have conquered the difficult part of our journey and, even though there is still a long way to go, we can clearly see the horizon. We thank all of Yaksta's fans for this beautiful blessing and we really appreciate all the industry award nominations Yaksta is receiving right now".
