Having both produced multiple chart-topping hits, Sart Out Records and Romieikon have decided to collaborate on Dovey’s most recent single, ‘Rescue Me’.
Released earlier June, the single has already entered the Reggae iTunes charts in The British Virgin Islands and Mongolia while maintaining its presence on Jamaica’s iTunes top 200 as well as Guyana’s top 200 iTunes chart respectively.
Delivering the track in her signature sultry style, the track seeks to infatuate its listeners by offering detailed lyrics that ignite the senses.
Speaking with Dovey Magnum she expresses how the track came about; “The inspiration for this one came from me just being in work mode, this beat spoke to me and I put how I was feeling on the beat. I am always thinking out of the box and I thought of a topic that would grab my females as well as my men and my imagination went wild. I started thinking of a scenario where I was traveling and anticipating seeing my partner and it felt like something that was relatable. I wanted my females to feel good and it shows from how hard they are going with it”.
She continued by adding, “Bawl Out Nation has been amazing to me, within four days we had over 2000 videos and their response gave me that added motivation I needed. I want my fans to know they are a part of me, a part of my music, a part of my push, they’re my everything and I know they missed the feeling that track gave them and it tells by how they are responding. It's a good look.”
With a vigorous marketing campaign underway, Romieikon shares that they will be amping up promotion for the incoming summer season; “We plan to continue promoting via social media while ensuring international curators keep adding the track to their libraries. The official video is also set to be released in coming weeks and is promised to complement the track effectively. A part of the campaign includes Dovey Magnum performing the single at upcoming events while releasing more personalized content for the artiste to boost her presence on the digital scene”.
To conclude, Dovey Magnum gives fans an insight into her additional endeavours; “I am working overtime because my fans have great expectations of me and my aim is to make sure I deliver. I have been in the studio nonstop, I have a forthcoming EP, I rebranded my business and I will be launching my skincare line soon in an effort to integrate all of my ventures”.
While the track continues to make a global impact, The producers and Dovey Magnum have decided to continue working on additional singles set to be released in coming months.
