New Singles: Duane Stephenson, Myki Tuff & Tomlin Mystic & Friendly Fire Band

Friendly Fire Band ft Duane Stephenson, Myki Tuff and Tomlin Mystic

Friendly Fire Music

Digital Release

11 February 2022

“Incredible[they] made it all sound effortless… isn’t that the secret of great mu- sic! sounded like it was just falling off the stage… beautiful tight riddims, the crowd was totally in- vested in the notes [they] were playing”

- Brian Travers, UB40

Friendly Fire Music's latest release is more than a riddim album, it's a set of three singles on the Rastamantic Riddim, a horn driven roots riddim played live by Friendly Fire Band.

To kick off, currently one of Jamaica's best songwriters, Duane Stephenson lends his plaintive voice to Tenament Yard, which resonates with the confinement situations the world has found itself in recently. Tomlin Mystic's The Enemy Within seriously addresses the fear mongering culture in the media. Last, but not least, lyricist Myki Tuff drops a different type of love song with the title track of the riddim: Rastamantic, just in time for your Valentine's playlists. Finally, by popular demand, Friendly Fire Band's instrumental version completes the release.

Released on all platforms digitally Friday 11 February 2022 and available now exclusively on Bandcamp
